SCHOOL INFORMATION
Finding the right school for your child when relocating to another state can sometimes be a difficult process. I?m happy to assist you in any way possible. Here?s some information to get you started.
Private and public schools in the Boca Raton area are considered to be some of the best in the State, enjoying Grade A reputations from year to year. And I literally mean ?A.? Each year, the Florida public school system grades each of its schools based on how good a job it has done educating your child. The grade is based on statewide achievement tests given once a year. These tests, the FCATS, are administered to every student in early spring.
In the private school sector, achievement tests are also administered and each private school can give you a report on how students faired with their testing. Most private high schools make available a year-end report indicating which colleges and universities accepted their students. This can be used as a guideline in deciding whether a particular school will meet the needs of your child.
